Changes made by your airline

When the airline changes or cancels your flight, you'll get a notification from us via email, app notification, or SMS/text message. From there, we'll guide you through the options offered by the airline.

Review all of your options, including any refund information, and decide which works best for you.

Whatever choice you make, we’ll send you a new confirmation email with your revised itinerary.

Basic Economy and restrictive fares

Airlines offer multiple fare classes for each flight. Basic Economy fares cost less than other fare classes, but often come with restrictions.

Your Basic Economy fare may be non-refundable, and you might not be able to make changes.

Restrictions vary by airline. Here are some common ones:

• No seat selection

• No changes allowed

• No refunds for cancelled bookings

• Fee charged for carry-on bags

• No checked bags allowed

• No miles, rewards, or points earnings

• No upgrades to business or first class

• Last group to board the plane

To see if you booked a Basic Economy or restrictive fare, check your confirmation email.

Cancel your flight

We'll remind you about airline policies, restrictions, and fees before finalizing your cancellation. You’ll also get a refund or credit summary.

If you bought insurance with this flight, it won’t be cancelled automatically. You will need to cancel your insurance as well.

Non-refundable fares: You won’t get a refund if you cancel, but you might get an airline credit to use later.

Flying with children

You’ll need to purchase a separate ticket for your child if:

• You book an international flight.

• Your child is 2 years old or older.

• Your child needs his or her own seat.

Unaccompanied minors

Many airlines welcome unaccompanied minors on their flights. However, we do not book flights for unaccompanied minors under age 18. Contact the airline directly to book travel for an unaccompanied minor.

Change your flight

We'll remind you about airline policies, restrictions, and fees before confirming your change. Remember, you'll need to book with the same airline you booked with originally.

Basic Economy and other restrictive fares: The airline won't let you make changes. Check your confirmation email or itinerary to see if you booked one of these fares. Change total fee = change penalty + fare difference + our service fee $50.

Pets on flights

If you are travelling with your pet, contact the airline to make a reservation for them and to find out their specific rules. If you’re flying with multiple airlines, you'll need to check the rules for each airline.

We advise you to reserve as soon as possible, since airlines limit the number of animals travelling both in the cabin and in cargo.

In general:

• You can usually bring small pets with you, as long as their carrier fits under the seat in front of you.

• Most airlines charge fees for pets travelling in the cabin or in cargo.

Your airline might require your pet to have the following:

• Collar with ID and licence number.

• Recent certificate of good health (no older than 30 days) from your veterinarian.

• Rabies vaccination certificate.

Change or cancel your cruise booking

Change of plans, no worries! You may be able to make certain changes to your reservation or cancel without a fee up to 90 days before departure. Just contact us and we can help.

Possible changes allowed Name changes

• Some cruise lines let you change a passenger’s name after completing your reservation. If you need to make a change, be sure to get in touch to learn what’s possible.

• You can avoid penalties by making sure the name of each passenger exactly matches their proof of citizenship.

Adding a passenger

A few factors determine your options and how much you pay, like how much room there is in your cabin, how far in advance you contact us, and which cruise line you’re travelling on. You’ll want to contact us to talk about these options.

Book a cruise

If you book by phone, you can either pay in full or make a deposit at the time of booking.

Booking multiple cabins

You can only book a single cruise cabin at a time. If you need more cabins, no worries – you can choose one of the following options:

• Make an individual reservation for each cabin

• To have a cruise specialist book multiple cabins for you, contact us.

Cruise payment options

• For over the phone payments, we may be able to hold a cruise for you. If we do, you can make a payment in full from the link sent via the confirmation email, or you can contact us.

Payment options for your cruise

We make paying for your cruise trip hassle-free. You can pay for your cruise online by credit card, debit card, and China UnionPay. You can also make a deposit and pay the rest later.

Paying with a deposit

If you’ve got more than 60 days until you sail away, you can book with a deposit and pay the rest later. Look for a confirmation email for details on when and how to pay the rest. Remember, if you haven’t paid in full by the final due date, the cruise line may cancel your reservation. You won’t get a refund for any deposit you made when you booked.
