Day 1 : Vancouver / Tokyo (Japan)

Fly with Air Canada on a nonstop flight to Tokyo from Vancouver. Start your worry-free vacation with our Canadian Tour Leader.

Day 2 : Arrive in Tokyo

Cross the International Date Line and arrive in Japan. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

Day 3 : Tokyo (B / L / SD)

After breakfast, explore Tokyo’s oldest temple, Asakusa Kannon Temple (Sensoji Temple). After that, enjoy breathtaking views of the city from the Tokyo Skytree Observation Deck. Following lunch, visit the Tokyo National Museum, the Imperial Palace and its East Garden, and the iconic Nijubashi Bridge. In the evening, we will gather for a Yakiniku (Traditional Japanese style BBQ) Welcome Dinner, where you can savor a variety of premium grilled meats and vegetables, cooked right at your table. Day 4 : Tokyo ~ Hakone ~ Mt. Fuji ~ Shizuoka (B / L / D)

This morning, we’ll set off for Hakone, where you will enjoy a tranquil 30-minute cruise on Lake Ashi aboard a charming pirate boat. As you sail, take in the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and, on clear days, catch a glimpse of the majestic Mt. Fuji. After the cruise, enjoy a delicious Tempura Soba lunch, featuring savory soba noodles in a flavorful broth with crispy tempura vegetables and seafood. Next, we’ll drive to Mt. Fuji 5th Station (weather permitting) to experience stunning panoramic views from the highest point accessible by vehicle. Return to hotel after dinner. (B / L / D)

Day 5 : Shizuoka ~ Nagoya (B / L / SD)

In the morning, take a 2.5-hour bus ride to Nagoya. Start with a visit to the majestic Nagoya Castle for a group photo at this iconic landmark. Then visit Osu Kannon Temple and wander through Osu Shopping Street, a bustling arcade with over 400 shops and restaurants. After lunch, head to the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology to discover the fascinating history of Japan’s automotive industry. This evening, indulge in a delightful Sukiyaki Dinner, a Japanese hot pot dish of beef, vegetables, tofu, and noodles simmered in a sweet sauce. (B / L / SD)

Day 6 : Nagoya ~ Kyoto (B / L)

After breakfast, take a 2-hour bus ride from Nagoya to Kyoto. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its iconic red torii gates. Enjoy a delicious Ramen noodle lunch with gyoza before participating in a Traditional Tea Ceremony, where you will experience the elegance of Japanese tea culture. Finish the day by exploring the historic Gion district and Hanami-koji Street, where you might catch a glimpse of geikos (Kyoto’s term for geisha) or maikos (geiko apprentices) in traditional attire. Day 8 : Kyoto ~ Nara ~ Kobe (B / L / D)

After breakfast, take a short ride to Nara, where you will explore the friendly deer in Nara Deer Park. Stroll through the charming streets of the Naramachi area, known for its well-preserved traditional buildings. Then, participate in a fun Sushi-making Class and savor your creations for lunch. After lunch, head to Kobe for a visit to the Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum, where you can learn about sake brewing and enjoy a Sake Tasting Experience. Day 9 : Kobe ~ Hiroshima ~ Kobe (B)

Today, board the Shinkansen (Bullet Train) to Hiroshima in the morning. Visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, including the Atomic Bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial Museum. Afterward, take a 10-minute ferry to Miyajima Island to explore the historic Itsukushima Shrine and see the famous floating torii gate. Return to Kobe by Bullet Train in the late afternoon. Afterward, travel to Osaka to visit the Cup Noodles Museum, where you can discover the history of instant ramen and create your own unique cup noodles. Continue to the vibrant Dotonbori District, famous for its eye-catching signage and billboards. Spend some leisure time shopping and sampling local street foods. Continue to the Busan International Film Festival Square, then explore Jagalchi Fish Market, Korea’s largest seafood market with a lively atmosphere and a vast array of fresh seafood. Today, explore Haedong Yonggungsa Temple for breathtaking ocean views and take a leisurely walk along Haeundae Beach and enjoy a ride on the Haeundae Coastal Train. Day 13 : Busan ~ Gyeongju (B / SL / D)

After breakfast, drive to Gyeongju to discover two UNESCO World Heritage sites: Seokguram Grotto, a cave temple with a stunning Buddha statue, and Bulguksa Temple, noted for its beautiful architecture and gardens. Enjoy a Buffet Lunch at Ashley Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Cheomsongdae Observatory, the ancient royal Daerungwon Tomb Complex, and the Gyeongju National Museum. After breakfast, visit the DMZ Area in the morning to experience the Third Tunnel and learn about the world’s most famous divided border. This morning, visit Gyeongbokgung Palace where you can dress in traditional hanbok. Enjoy a Ginseng Chicken Soup Lunch. Then explore the National Folk Museum and Bukchon Hanok Village. Day 16 : Seoul / Vancouver (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a DIY Chili Sauce making with Bibimbap Experience and shop for souvenirs at a Local Products Store before transferring to Incheon International Airport for your Air Canada flight back to Vancouver. (B)
